Mark Nielsen is a consultant specializing in directing companies to achieve the maximum benefit from Model Based Definition and its application by creating a more efficient and profitable Model Based Enterprise.  After 25 years at PTC, the last 15 focused on MBD, he has helped over 80 companies setup and execute an effective model based strategy.  Much of his time is spent driving industry standards via participation on numerous American Society of Mechanical Engineers, ASME, committees related to Model Based Definition, working with the National Institute of Science and Technology, NIST, and the Digital Metrology Standards Consortium, DMSC.  These concepts are applied to customers across a variety of industries with a hands-on, practical approach, as he is committed to solving problems and figuring out the details while assisting companies in developing a practical and cost-effective Model Based Enterprise.
